This piece of artwork is a vibrant and joyous tribute to my friends who are born under the Aquarius and Pisces zodiac signs. The choice of neon genesis colours is not arbitrary, but rather a deliberate decision to reflect the unique characteristics associated with these two astrological signs.
As an artist, my style and approach have been profoundly shaped by various art movements and styles. I have drawn significant inspiration from Cubism, with its emphasis on abstract form and the fragmentation of the three-dimensional space. Orphism has influenced me with its focus on pure colour and the emotional response it evokes. The Abstract Hard-Edge style has guided my use of geometric shapes and lines, and Fauvism has inspired me to use bold, non-naturalistic colours. Additionally, the digital culture of our time has also left an indelible mark on my artistic sensibilities.
In this artwork, I have incorporated various celebratory elements, shapes, and lines, each rendered in a different colour. These elements come together to create a sense of festivity and joy. The centrepiece of the artwork is a large, colourful circle filled with clockwise swirls, symbolising the continuous and harmonious flow of life.
The three-dimensional lines in the artwork flow together in specific directions, creating a sense of movement and dynamism. This is symbolic of the journey of life, with its twists and turns, ups and downs. By using these lines, I aim to convey my heartfelt wishes for my friends - a life filled with colour, vibrancy, and joy.
In essence, this artwork is more than just a visual representation. It is a celebration of life, friendship, and the colourful journey ahead. It is a testament to the influence of various art movements on my style, and a reflection of the digital culture we live in. Above all, it is a tribute to my friends, their zodiac signs, and the unique qualities they possess.
